2010 – Primavera’s past is rich with cooking from the heart. It is run by Ada Scanga. It all started in Lago, Italy where her family owned a restaurant/bar/discoteca and her father loved the land and its fruits, herbs and grains. The restaurant was called ‘Lucciola’ which means ‘firefly’ in Italian.
Ada learned about the food and entertainment business from her family and when the time came, she took over the business.
In 1995 she moved to Canada and began raising her family with her husband Quinto. Although cooking at the Polish Hall and for Toni’s Bakery was rewarding, she needed to once have a place of her own again. In 2010 her and Quinto purchased the Primavera and have not looked back.”
